Cancellation & Refund Policy - SMS Tours and Travels

At SMS Tours and Travels, we are committed to providing a transparent and seamless service to our customers. If you need to cancel your trip, vehicle rental, or booking for any reason, the following cancellation and refund terms will apply:

1. Vehicle Rental / Car Booking Cancellation Policy

* Cancellation more than 48 hours before trip start time: A 25 % administrative fee will be deducted from the total Tour Costing payment, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

* Cancellation between 24 to 48 hours: A 50% fee will be deducted from the total advance payment.

 * Cancellation within less than 24 hours: No refund will be provided from the advance payment.

 * No-Show: If the customer fails to show up at the scheduled time and pickup location without prior notice, the entire booking advance will be forfeited.

2. Tour Package Cancellation Policy For cancellations of tour packages (such as 5-Day Lonavala/Mahabaleshwar Package, etc.), the following deductions will apply:

 * 15 days or more prior to the travel date: 10% charge of the total package cost.

 * 7 to 14 days prior: 25% charge of the total package cost.

 * 3 to 6 days prior: 50% charge of the total package cost.

 * Less than 3 days (72 hours): 100% deduction (No refund will be provided).

3. Ticket Booking (Flight, Train, and Bus)

 * Train / Flight / Bus Tickets: The official cancellation rules and charges of IRCTC, the respective airlines, or the bus operator will strictly apply.

 * Service Fee: The service charge collected for ticketing services is non-refundable.

4. Refund Process

 * Refund Processing Time: Once a cancellation request is approved, the refund amount will be credited back to your original payment method or bank account within 5 to 7 working days.

 * Unforeseen Circumstances: In the event of trip cancellations caused by natural disasters, heavy rainfall, government restrictions, or emergency situations, partial/full credits or rescheduling options may be provided at management's discretion.
